DJI PHANTOM 3 RELEASED
"Well haven't DJI been busy yet again?!"
The launch of the DJI Phantom 3 is finally here and certainly seems to promise some amazing opportunities for the film makers that don't wish to pay for the Inspire. They haven't started shipping yet, so much of this article is based on what they sent me and what I have seen on the demos.
The new unit features 4K or 1080p HD, depending on which model you choose.
There are now 2! The professional Phantom 3 and the Advanced Phantom 3.
The Phantom 3 is easy to use just like the Phantom 2 and is a fully integrated package with an intelligent system that helps you fly. It looks pretty much identical to a Phantom 2 but one thing of note is that you now need a tablet to fly it!

gives you complete control over your Phantom 3 and an immersive, live HD view of everything below.
