Have you heard of the Gimbal problems that many people are experiencing with their new Phantom 2 Vision Plus? I finally broke down and purchased this unit and am too experiencing “weird” gimbal problems.
After powering up the main unit, the gimbal must be initializing. Then all of a sudden, the camera points downward and jerks slightly from left to right. I made a short video of this initialization and uploaded it to
Youtube.com: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jhX5CaOLV3M I’m seeing more and more folks on Youtube.com showing the same symptoms and some that are even worse. The biggest problem we seem to have is to get DJI to respond to support requests/inquiries.
I personally have emailed them several times and all I get is an automated response. Today I think I’ll call their North American support line. Their website says nothing concerning any issues with the new gimbal setup.
Have you seen or heard any of this?

We haven't started looking at the Phantom 2 Plus as yet in any serious way.
I must admit we tend to let the 1st 2 generations of anything go by, before getting interested.
Got sick of being "bleeding edge" rather than "leading edge!"
Maybe others could share their experiences do far?
