BATTERY LIFE ON DJI PHANTOM 2 Vs 1
"Should I buy a Phantom 1 or 2?"
The Phantom 2 has a longer flight time but the batteries are £160 each and take hours to recharge....from what ive read the Phantom one has a 10 minute flight time but you can double it by adding another battery . The batteries are cheaper (£40) and charge faster apparently. What do you think?

The charge rates are very similar for both batteries and the P2 batteries hold a
longer standby charge. The extra weight you add to the P1 with strap on batteries cuts flight time further. You could expect 5 - 7 minutes (per battery) on a day 18 - 25c and 18 - 24 minutes on a P2 battery. Depends what your carrying,weather and what you are making it do. This is only our experience!
